In early 2021, the American Association of State Colleges and Universities named Dr. Tymon Graham to its 2021 Millennium Leadership Initiative Class.

In March 2023, Dr. Graham was named to the Stellar 50 class by NASPA’s African American Knowledge Community for his work in higher education and student affairs.

In August 2022, Dr. Graham was named a recipient and member of the Inaugural Top 40 under 40 class by Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity Incorporated. The Top 40 under 40 initiative recognizes 40 influential Alpha Brothers in each of the following seven categories, including: finance, healthcare, civic engagement, education, media, technology, and entertainment.

In March 2022, Dr. Graham was named a recipient and member of the 2022 Sawubona 30 under 40 class by the Pan African Network of ACPA–College Student Educators International in the areas of Mentorship AND Research & Scholarship. 

The 2022 30 under 40 Sawubona class recognizes the work of 30 individuals of African heritage across various roles within higher education who embody one or more of the Pan African Network core values in the categories—Advocacy, Campus Partnership, Civic Engagement, Mentorship, Programming, and Research & Scholarship.
